JTS '13 and career thinking

The previous Saturday, (5th Jan 2013), was JTS night! So JTS is basically Juniors-Treat-Seniors. But before that, I worked my first Saturday and it was hectic. Worked from 9.30 to 6pm and there were a total of four classes. There was one with a teacher called Fany Tang. Haha she was really cool and funny and it's so cool that we had the same surnames! After her class we talked for a little while and she got me quite interested in interior designing as a University course, but then she also advised me not to take it in University but to take night classes on it next time while working since I do not really need to learn too in depth on it.

This also got me really worried about what I should do in the future. Everyone who knows that I am waiting for my A level results all asked me the same question: "So what course are you planning to take?" And my answer will always be the same: "I honestly have no clue". This really makes me scared because they will always give me the look like at this point of time I am supposed to have at least a basic idea of what I want to do in future.

I thought about this before. What is it that I really wanna do? What are my interests? It's not hard to say what I like but then I remember that my decisions now have huge impacts on my future. One tiny mistake/impulse can possibly cost me opportunities or chances in the future. This is me. I hate making huge decisions like these because I know that I have to bear any consequences of my wrong decisions now.

I thought of pursuing engineering before. Not because I have an interest in this but because Physics has always been my better subject in school and I think that there is a future for engineering in Singapore. But I also know that it'll be really boring. Same goes for Accountancy. Then I thought about a career in fashion too. But I really don't know if there are that many opportunities for that and I'll be honest with myself, I do not exactly have the best fashion sense out there. Business? Maybe.

Anyway, Mr Chin told me that he knows how to do career advising so maybe after I get my results I'll go to him for help!

At night I went to 313 for dinner with the whole Volleyball (TJ) team! Ate at f.i.s.h and had so much fun laughing, playing games and watching Lu Xun do magic tricks that were mind-blowing. HAHA!

My #ootd! Top, skirt and shoes from Bkk. Mad cheap ^^ Bracelet randomly found in my drawer.

Pretty Ju who has always been my partner in trainings and we always wait for each other especially when we go to the toilet since we are both always so slow haha!

Went for hair treatment yesterday and I can really feel the difference! Thinking of doing it every month from now on.

Ok this shall be it for this post! Abrupt ending haha! Update soon~
